The only advice I give to players wanting to use a longer shaft is to relax and let the shaft do the work. With today’s shaft technologies, there is absolutely no reason why a golfer shouldn’t hit it further with just as much, or more control. It’s the future of golf (longer shafts) and is being seen now on the PGA Tour. If the best players in the world are going two inches over standard length, the rewards must be there. There is no risk in trying it, and everything to gain.
