You must control where your hips are...so I suggest you stand with your hips up against something (i.e. a wall at home.)
See if you can rotate back, keep that spin angle, while your hips stay against the wall.
Create an imaginary line that your hips cannot go past ...maintaining that spine angle......now we have a fightin' chance of staying on left side....heck… just watch the video - enjoy!
